This 8 days 7 night Taiwan Trip was planned half a year ago. We chose to fly by Cathay Pacific Airlines which means we will have to transit in HK. Although its kind of waste time, I don't mind cos I love HK...hahaha
Air ticket to HK for transit to Taichung
Happily, we reached HK as per scheduled. This is my first time taking transit flight,hence I was quite excited about it. After alighting at HK,we went to look for the gate for us to depart to Taichung. There wasn't extra time for us to shop at Hong Kong International Airport.

By the time we board the Dragonair KA490, we were quite hungry as it was already lunch time. Waiting and waiting~~~
Then the Captain made an announcement that we had to be transferred to another flight due to technical fault...OMG
Waiting for the transit flight...eeee...this was the place where we will have to climb stairs to board the plane...
What an unlucky day to start with...our itinerary was affected...by the time we reached, it was already 5 plus in the evening and the sky was already as dark as 8pm in Singapore.

After customs clearance, we met our nice Tour guide cum driver and went to purchase their pre-paid SIM card...there is only one Telco available at the Taichung Airport,i.e. Chunghwa Telecom. Ms Tan and I didn't manage to get the SIM card as we did not bring our NRIC along. ANGRY lor. Therefore,must remember to have at least 2 official picture IDs (Passport and NRIC or Driver's Licence) to purchase their SIM card...

After unloading our lugguages into our rooms,we went for our late buffet dinner in the "village". Think we were all very hungry as none of us remember to take picture of our dinner.

I didn't quite like the place as it was quite old and dirty. The moment we went into the room, we found a cockroach "running" all over our room and a worm crawling in the room the next morning...
Nevertheless, I slept quite well that night.
