The WESTIN KUALA LUMPUR Hotel...We are BACK!!!...and We will be BACK...

It seems that flying to KL to stay in the Westin Hotel has been a yearly routine. This is our 2nd time staying in this 5 star Hotel which is famous for their signature HEAVENLY BED.

This year we went on 27 Jul 2013, the flight to KL was fully sponsored by Amy. It was my advance birthday pressie from her.

We took the 7.10am flight to KL and reached before 8.15am. Throughout the flight, Miss Amy was catching up her beauty sleep while I was watching  衝上雲霄II on her iPad.

衝上雲霄II ...Captain Cool

We decided to get ourselves the cheapest data SIM card (RM15) as we were only be staying in KL for one night. When I passed the iPad to the staff to insert the SIM card, she asked, "your boyfriend??" 飘飘然...飘...飘...飘...飘... Then I ask her," handsome hor? handsome hor?" She really made my day!

Happily, we proceed to take the KLIA Ekspres. We purchased the return tickets @ RM70 each. There are also some super-value fares to choose from. (Visit http://www.kliaekspres.com) When we board the train, Amy continued to be the sleeping beauty while I continued to watch my drama. Shortly, we reached KL Sentral, never timed the journey but I guess is less than half an hour as its website stated "The city is just 28 minutes away". From KL Sentral, we took a taxi to the Hotel.

Another good thing about Westin Hotel is that they allowed us to have early check-in and late check-out. We lazed in the Hotel room till 12noon before we proceed for our buffet lunch at Jogoya Japanese Buffet Restaurant. I remembered we had buffet dinner last year so this year we decided to try their buffet lunch.

JOGOYA Japanese Buffet Restaurant

要開動咯!!!
Dim Sum
My favourite: Salmon Sashimi, Prawn, Abalone
Coconut Drink
Seafood beehoon with XO sauce
Cakes

The restaurant has quite variety of food, Japanese, Chinese, Western and many others. It has a very pleasant and soothing ambience, as if we were dining in a high class restaurant. I did not manage to try all the food there as I was already very full after eating my favourite salmon sashimi, dim sum, XO seafood noodle.

After that, we took a cab down to the Central Market for the Y'ao Market @ Annexe Gallery. However, we left the place shortly as there was nothing worth buying.

After we left Central Market, we took a cab to Mid Vallery MegaMall. The moment we boarded the cab and told him our destination, he sound unhappy and said "traffic jam". Luckily we still reached Mid Vallery safely.

Amy's favourite : Baseball Nut flavour ice cream

Whenever Amy travelled to KL, Mid Vallery's Baskin Robbins is a MUST-GO place for her. After having her favourite ice-cream, we went shopping for shoes and tibits. Sadly, the tibits shop was closed for renovation.

We took nap again the moment we went back to Hotel. ZZZzzzzzzz

Trying out my Samsung camera effect on the toiletries

After the "sleeping beauty" woke up at 7.30pm, we still could not decided what we should have for dinner. Hence, we decided to walk across to Pavilion to shop around. We saw the Victoria Secret store and we went in to compare the price of the perfume which we bought at the airport in the morning.

We also managed to find the tibits shop at Pavilion. Happily, we were sampling and packing the tibits ourselves. I could not believed I spent more than Amy at the tibits shop.

Finally, we decided to put our tibits back to Hotel before going to have seafood feast for the night. Just as we were walking back, a large group of youngsters were shouting and started to fight. Phew! We managed to rushed back to the hotel lobby safely.

We ended up having our feast in the room...

 Mini Mayonnaise and Tomato Ketchup
Amy's dinner : Claypot chicken rice and fries
My dinner : fried chicken drumstick, satay, fried egg, fried rice...super yummy
 Yummy...Nothing left behind...yummy-lious

The next day, we 睡到自然醒 and that was 10.30am. We went to 海外天 Restoran Oversea for our brunch. We ate their famous 燒肉 and 叉燒.

Closed up of the 燒肉 and 叉燒 (sinful but very nice)
 Fried egg with minced meat
Fried Rice
Sambal KangKong (not nice!!!)

I remembered we bought their mooncake last year when we were here. This year we bought their exquisite creation, creamy milk tea and yinyang.

The pandan flavoured one was nice, regretting for only buying one piece

Initially, we intended to checkout at 1.30pm and do our final shopping at Pavilion before heading to the Airport. However, our lazy bugs attacked us! So we requested our late checkout to be extended to 3pm. Guess what! We SLEPT again! hahaha..We almost overslept. We quickly freshened up ourselves and headed to the lobby for checkout.

On the way to the airport at the KLIA Ekspres, we started to miss the heavenly bed. We will be back soon...heehee

At the airport, we took our dinner at coffeebean. We told the staff NO whipped cream for our ice blended mocha, but we were still served with whipped cream...sighed...Their Chicago cheesecake tasted like a lemon cake, I still prefer the cheesecake in Singapore.

My dinner : Caesar Salad and Chicago Cheesecake

Bye bye KL... and Home Sweet Home...
