Saw this video Lee Kuan Yew National Anthem Tribute . As I was watching the video, my tears just flow endlessly. I felt sad, at the same time felt proud and touching to be a Singaporean.
I am very glad that we still went ahead to queue with thousand of people to pay our last respect to Mr Lee despite all the possible obstacles that we could face. (Thank you Eileen for your company and encouragement)
After about 4 hours of waiting and queuing, we managed to pay our respect and tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew at Parliament House on 27.03.2015. Thank you Mr Lee for everything you have done for Singapore. We love you. RIP!
Reached Cityhall MRT at 6.45am
Think we walked about 1hr before we reached the holding area at Padang.
We were told to wait for another 3 to 4 hrs before we could proceed to walk to Parliament House. Lucky, we waited for about 2 hrs.
