Going to Japan has always been a dream to me. And now my dream really come true. Thanks to Amy for planning the itinerary, booking all the tickets and making sure the "smoothness" of the trip. She used Hyperdia to help her in the planning to travel around in Japan and it was quite accurate too.

We reached Narita Airport around 7 plus in the morning (Japan is one hour ahead of Singapore),collected our baggages.
We actually bought Japan Rail Pass voucher at JTB (2 Orchard Turn, #B4-29, Ion Orchard, 238801) before the trip. Immediately we went to look for the Ticket Office at Narita Airport Terminal 1 to exchange for our JR Pass as the JR East Travel Service Center was closed.

In order to activate your JR Pass, you will have to exchange your voucher at a JR office. These offices can be found at the airport or at major train stations, opening times will vary.
At the office, fill out the form with your details and show your passport. When exchanging the pass you will need to decide a start date, this does not have to be the same day as the exchange date, however it cannot exceed 30 days after the exchange.
Once your pass is validated, you will be able to use it starting it on the date you have chosen, and for the consecutive number of days for which your pass is valid.

OMG! It was raining initially...all of a sudden, we saw it was snowing...I could not believe my eyes...I could not describe how excited I was.

Ard 3.00pm - We reached Kyoto Station. We took the Hachijo Exit to look for the free shuttle bus to ANA CROWNE PLAZA KYOTO HOTEL. The shuttle bus stand was just outside MacDonald.
We saw this nice café at Kyoto Station but we did not get to try.
Before 4.00pm, we managed to take the Hotel Shuttle bus and reached ANA CROWNE PLAZA KYOTO HOTEL. We checked in and collected our WIFI device.

Saw this shrine in a corner of the street...so we went in to check it out...
The weather got worse and it was really too cold for me to endure. So we decided to have a cup of hot cappuccino to warm ourselves. This is the first time me feeling I need so warmth...our fingers were like frozen, typing messages on our mobile phones was quite difficult...BUT, I still love the snowing experience.
The shopping mall in Japan closed early generally. So we decided to go back to our Hotel.
As we were walking back to our Hotel, we saw a car that was covered with snow and I got excited again...
The moment we stepped into the Hotel Lobby, it was so warm and nice...
I knocked out the moment I bathed and slept till the next day...ZZZZzzzz
