a "Government-free" Friday

It's Friday!!! Office was very quiet as many of our colleagues were on leave.

I brought my own lunch and since the rest could not decide what to eat for lunch, Eileen decided to order MacDonald delivery.
Nasi Lemak and McNugget Kids Meal for lunch!!!

The yellow banana team and their lunch...

Thanks to Ting & LieLie for giving support to the table so that I could lie on the table to pose.

Somemore photo-taking sessions after lunch...What an enjoyable lunch break for me...

High Tea @ Tea Lounge

I had decided to take a break from work today and decided to date Amy to go for high tea since she was on leave too. Thank you Amy for accompanying to tried my first high tea.

We decided to go to Kinokuniya @ Takashimaya before going for the high tea. I found my idol's book, while Amy also bought her favourite novel. So happily, both of us went to take Bus 36 to Regent Singapore.

 Nice X'mas Tree @ Takashimaya

The Tea Lounge is just located at the lobby level of Hotel. The weekday afternoon tea comes with 2 choice of aromatic cup of coffee or tea (free flow), with an assortment of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, delicious pastries and cakes served on our signature three-tier stand.

Guess what is in the box???
The box contains the choices of tea leaves that we can choose from...sniff sniff sniff

 My idol's book
Flora Jasmine
Mountain berries
Cappuccino

 Finger sandwiches

 The signature three-tier stand
 Freshly baked scones

I liked their finger sandwiches, chicken pie and the cappuccino. The cakes on the signature three tier stand were left untouched. Its actually very relaxed to have high tea in the afternoon while others were working. (haha) But I think this will my first and will be my last high tea. (heehee)

After enough eating and resting, we took the Bus 36 to the Newly opened Robinsons opposite Mandarin Gallery.

Found this cute box

Bangkok Jam

Met up with Yien Hong for dinner yesterday...don't know what to eat so I suggested Bangkok Jam. It was located on the 2nd level at Wheelock Place. There wasn't many customers when we found the place. It was good for us as we just need to fill our stomach and chit chat.

The staff there were quite friendly. When we asked the waiter the size of the serving for the soup, he actually went all the way to bring out the bowl to show us. (so nice of him)

 Nice lightings
Yien Hong

Seafood Clear Tom Yum ($7.90) but the serving is too little (heehee)
Seafood Phad Thai ($11.90) ...Nice Nice
Bangkok Mixed Grill ($23) includes Grilled Sotong, prawn, chicken and beef but they allowed us to change the beef to chicken (Good service)

Surprise BirthDay Celebration for Candy Cai

We gave Cai a very surprised Birthday celebration this morning. Eileen suggested to do it differently, instead of celebrating in the afternoon, we would do it in the morning. After some planning, we decided to ask Erma to fake her resignation and bring Cai to the discussion room.

While both Cai and Erma were in the room, talking "seriously", we stormed in and surprised her. The moment she knew Erma's resignation was a prank played on her, she was so relieved that she teared...Poor Cai!
Mission successful!!!
Erma is the best actress for the day. *clap!clap*
Heng ah, the cake from Swee Heng is halal de, so Erma can eat.

2nd round of celebration @ Sun with Moon

Each of us had to pay $27.40, broke already...hahaha
